Activate your Portfolio Access ID
Please have your Investment Professional (IP) create a Portfolio Access ID for you.
After an ID has been created, you must activate your ID by following the steps below:- Login to www.bearstearns.com
- Click on "My Portfolio"

- A window will appear asking you to verify your e-mail address. As soon as you do, your Portfolio Access ID is activated.

- Once you are logged into www.bearstearns.com, click on "My Portfolio" on the left side.

- Click on "Documents."
- Click on the "eDocs Profile" tab.
Note: For each account, you will have to complete the steps below to enroll/modify your electronic notification selection.
- Click on "Enroll/Modify Existing Selection" next to the account you would like to enroll in eDocs.
- Print out the " eDocs Enrollment/Change Form"
- On the Enroll/Modify Form Check the "E-Notifications" box
- Verify your E-mail address
- Sign and Date the form
- Fax or Mail the completed eDocs Enrollment/Change Form to the appropriate place referenced at the bottom of the form

- If you are enrolling an Advisory Services account from the STRATIS, Systematic Managed Accounts or Investment Counseling Service Programs for eDocs, and you have indicated that you did not want to receive a mailing of individual trade confirmations upon the completion of each transaction in your client agreement, please make sure to leave the E-Notifications/Trade Confirmations box blank. Otherwise, you will receive electronic versions of the individual trade confirmations.
E-mail Confirmation Required!
Once you complete Steps 1-3, you will receive a "Welcome e-mail" from Bear Stearns eDocs. You are NOT officially enrolled into eDocs until you reply to the email. This reply must come from the same email address which is printed on the eDocs Enrollment/Change Form. This step is necessary to verify your e-mail address.

- If you are not receiving the e-mail from us, please check your spam folder. If a confirm/statement is returned to Bear Stearns as undeliverable 3 times, the client will be reverted back to paper confirms/statements.
